One Hackathon is open to the Students, technologist, freelancers and professional developer community.

You can apply for this Challenge on the first stage, the Ideathon, if you have an idea for a HR or a social impact project that you want to see implemented in an organization. Or you can also apply for the second stage, the Hackathon, if your skills are more technical and you want to develop an idea that was already approved.

The Ideathon and the Hackathon have a different monetary prize. If you apply from the 1st stage, the Ideathon, you are qualified to win every prize. What you can win is: $1000 for the Ideathon, $2000 for the Hackathon, a 3-month Traineeship with a company and with your original Project and the chance of being recruited by one of our sponsors. Furthermore, you receive a blockchain certificate with the result of your performance during the Challenge.

Your CV is what we call ID. It will be essential for the whole process, since it will be used to evaluate your performance, to match you with a team on the Hackathon stage and to make your profile attractive to recruiters.

Every stage of the Alt Future Challenge is online, to make it accessible and open to everyone.
